GRA Customs Completes Technical Visit to Nigeria Customs to Boost AEO Cooperation
Four Staff from GRA Customs Trade Facilitation has completed a three-day technical visit to the Nigeria Customs Service (25–27 November 2025) to strengthen cooperation on the Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) programme and regional trade facilitation.
During the visit, the delegation held technical sessions, toured key operational units, and exchanged best practices with Nigeria’s AEO and Trade Facilitation teams.
Team Lead Omar Bojang highlighted that the mission aimed to study Nigeria’s AEO framework and support Gambia’s efforts to enhance border efficiency and meet ECOWAS, AfCFTA, WCO and WTO obligations.
