At the ATAF Annual Meetings, Executive Secretary Mary Baine met with the Gambia Revenue Authority leadership to enhance collaboration, review ongoing reforms, and explore future support under ATAF’s 2025–2030 strategic plan.

The Executive Secretary Mary Baine expressed deep appreciation to The Gambia for it's long-standing commitment to ATAF and highlighted that the Gambia has been part of ATAF since it's establishment, demonstrating consistent engagement and participants in the ATAF programmes and a member of the ATAF's council.
The Commissioner General Yankuba Darboe and his Management acknowledged the importance of ATAF's support, particularly capacity building and audit competencies. The GRA leadership shared key reform priorities where ATAF's support remained strategic, digital reforms and international taxation and transfer pricing.
Preparation for the upcoming ATAF 2026 Master Class was part of the discussion during the meeting. The ATAF 2026 Master Class will be hosted in The Gambia.
