Musa Saidykhan
The Director ICT and Digitalisation, Mr. Musa Saidykhan, is a distinguished information systems professional with over three decades of experience in the Income Tax and Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA). Mr. Saidykhan has risen through the ranks from a data collector and tax clerk in the early 1990s to leading the Authority's strategic IT direction.
During his tenure, Mr. Saidykhan has spearheaded several major national reform projects, most notably serving as the National Project Manager for the implementation of the ASYCUDA World System and the Gambia National Single Window Project. He played a pivotal role in the country’s transition from sales tax to VAT in 2012, serving as the National VAT Project Manager. Furthermore, he presided over the successful implementation of the GamTaxNet 2.0 system, for which he received official commendation for his diligence and technical leadership.
Mr Saidykhan is a recognised Microsoft Certified IT Professional and Technology Specialist. He holds a Master of Science in Information Systems Management from the University of Salford, UK, and possesses numerous international certifications in project management, risk management, and big data analytics. He also represents the region as a member of the World Customs Organisation West and Central Africa ICT Regional Working Group.
