Finance and Accounting Department

The Finance & Accounting Department is headed by a Director, assisted by a Deputy and Team. The Department is responsible for:

  • Receiving, Recording and Banking payments from taxpayers
  • Collating, Reconciling and Reporting revenue collections and other financial transactions
  • Providing financial support services to the Authority
  • The procurement of goods, services and works for the Authority

Notice Board

The Authority has engaged the services of some Commercial Banks to receive payment of revenue on behalf of the Authority. This is to enable the quick process of payments by taxpayers and thus enhancing the clearing time.

Cheque Payment

  • Payments above D100,000 can only be paid via RTGS to the Central Bank of the Gambia
  • Payments below D100,000 may be made via RTGS too
